Lord, Today I need help with my spirit. I understand about our President saying that he has to do everything in his power to prevent mass shootings again. But Lord, I'm so very afraid of how he means to do it. I will continue to pray for our leader, though it is hard sometimes as I disagree so much with his methods. Please let him understand that neither righteousness, nor wickedness, can be legislated. Isn't that how Israel failed in trying to keep the law? But as we saw from Israel's Kings, time and again, the King can lead the people toward or away from you. Lord, bottom line, America needs a heart change. We need you back in our Government. We need you back in our schools. But mostly Lord Jesus, we need you back in our homes. Less entertainment and more study and worship of you. Less Hollywood and more Jesus. Less hate and more Love. Oh God, grant America a spirit of Repentance. Let us find Godly Sorrow in our hearts and then turn from our wicked ways. Oh how hypocritical for us to "rightly" morn the murder of 20 innocents but to ignore the murder of millions of innocents. Oh God, please, please, forgive us. Turn us. Give us a new heart and a right Spirit. In Jesus Name I pray.
