Lord, Perhaps now I know at least part of why you put President Obama on my heart to pray for him daily. I should have been doing it before now by commandment as "it is written." But I didn't and I'm sorry. Your will and your plans aren't really complicated if we will be obey. You said once that if we love you, to keep your commandments. I am sorry that I haven't been faithful in doing this f or MY President for the past four years. Please Lord, help our leader in the hours and days to come, to major on the majors and to minor on the minor. He will be pushed by radicals in both political camps to do their wills. I simply ask that the strongest and straightest push comes from the only one who truly loves and cares for him with pure love: YOU. Lord Jesus, please help the parents who lost children today. Many also lost hope, lost their futures and for some they have lost all reason in the face of this absolute wickedness. And help our President to lead our country in the Sound Ways of Truth. Mary must have felt much as these parents do as she watched them crucify You. However, our Father knew the whole plan, the end from the beginning. Help these hurting and broken parents and our President to cling to Light in the face of the coming days of Darkness. In Jesus Name I pray.
