Dec. 16, 2012

Lord, Today our President goes to Newtown to visit with families torn with grief and the faithful men and women who put their lives on the line everyday doing public service. Lord, I ask that when he shows up today that he finds Your Spirit there already in such abundance that his visit appears anti-climatic. Use President Obama to console and comfort the families with so much loss that simply living, now, has become a drudgery. Lord, today will be emotional for the families, public workers and citizens of this broken town, as well as for our President. Lord move your Spirit upon his spirit and cause him to become "Your Man." Just as Saul prophesied, before he was King, simply because he was moved on by your Spirit. Please Lord, temper our Leader's tongue with your Spirit, wherein dwells all wisdom. Please keep him from the intoxication of public opinion and let him drink of the wine of your Spirit. Lord, our President goes to minister. I ask that you have one of your servants there, broken and grief stricken though they may be, to minister to President Obama. Let him see truth in the face of a Saint of God who has lost their most valuable possession. I ask this in Jesus Name.
