Lord Jesus, today I leave President Obama to you.  My thoughts and expressions in prayer seem inadequate and so I leave him with you.  Oh Lord, I do not own him but he does work for me.  I'm not sure of his heart but you know it intimately.  I'm not sure what "Truly" drives him but you do.  So I leave him with you today.  If this sounds like a "Baby Sitting Job", that is how I envision it.  Take him today Lord and separate him from everything but you.  Jesus, just today, force our Leader to be locked away with you for hours at a time.  Remove distractions.  Remove issues.  Remove people.  Oh Great God, remove him from the realm where he so shines and into the realm where he can only bow.  Take him unto yourself today where he becomes speechless in your presence and instead of giving answers, he must ask the questions.  Please Dear God, receive Barack Obama today as I give him to you.  My part, my piece of our President, I give to you to do with as you will.  In Jesus Name I pray. 

Lord, as we rush toward yet another new year, I come to you yet again asking for help with our nation's leaders.  Dear God, please help America to get on track as a nation of Christians again.  I know that not every American will be a Christian but if True Christianity prevails then American will once again become a decent nation.  Lord as you did to three thousand souls on the Day of Pentecost, prick the conscious of our Nation and its leaders and bring us to repentance.  Cause us to see ourselves as you see us.  Cause us to blush for the awful sins we commit as persons and citizens.  And Great God please let this start with President Obama.  If a lowly man such as I repents and is changed not too many notice.  But if you will capture the heart of our President and bring him into alliance with your Spirit then all will see what being a Christian is really about.  Lord, you know it is more than a profession and confession, followed by empty works that you want.  Jesus, bring the Leadership of this nation into Conversion and Transformation.  Great God of Heaven I appeal to you yet again for Revival in America.  As the woman before the Judge who just kept coming back, we come to you yet again.  Lord Jesus, hear our prayers and grant our petitions...  In Jesus Name I Pray. 

Lord, I thought to not pray for President Obama today to put pressure on him but thought that that probably wouldn't work. (forgive me) So Lord, somehow, someway, cause him to understand your ways. I know that I don't have everything figured out the way it should be, but you do. Jesus, please intervene with his life and change his heart and mind to be a good leader for America. Lord, it seems I ask this every day but please, PLEASE, touch our President in a way that is so spectacular and profound that it would be undeniable that you had responded to Barack Obama's pea for help. I ask for this in Jesus Name.

Lord, Our President has some hard decisions to make in the coming days. Lord Jesus, please give this man a heart for America and the wisdom to lead her in the ways you would have us to go. Lord, America might deserve judgement but I ask that you instead show us mercy. Forgive the sins of our nation and forgive the sins of our leaders and Lord, forgive the sins of the citizens of this country. Turn us back into a Nation of True Believers. Give us a heart for truth and give us the backbone to endure whatever it takes to get us there. Lord, talk to President Obama today as only you can. Disquiet his soul and cause him to pray and to seek your guidance. Forgive my redundancy in praying for our Leader but I know no other way than to keep coming to the Master of All Masters and asking for help and Mercy. Bless our Congress today with thoughts inspired by the Spirit. Let them come together and make the right decisions. Lord, I ask that your Spirit prevails against the Principalities and Powers that afflict this nation. Jesus guide our Leaders so that they put aside politics and do what is right and best. Lord, they may never give you the credit but I will and do so. In Jesus Name I pray.

Merry Christmas

Lord, for me today is a day of Thanksgiving. It is easy to thank you for my family and friends, whom I love dearly. It is easy to thank you for my Pastor and Church Family and other Spiritual Leaders who have helped over the years. It is easy to thank you for material blessings like my job, home and "Cuddles" our dog. But today Lord I want to thank you with all of my heart for something much more difficult. I want to thank you for My President. I wish I could know him personally and intimately as you know him. I would like to see the real smile on his face when he has his private moments with his children and love rushes to his face. I would like to be a friend when it's all he can do to keep tears from his eyes because of the hard job he holds. I've had those days too Lord, when I had tears because of just the load I bear. And my load is nothing as compared to his. Lord, please let President Obama know that he is loved. And that I give thanks for him. No, I don't agree with everything he says, does and believes but I am coming to love the "Man." Jesus, today just let President Obama just be Dad and Spouse. Let true joy reach his face and though we the public of the United Stations may never see it, let it flow from and into his heart. Bless Barack Obama today with Peace and promise. Let him see you in everything he looks at today Lord. Let him know, please, somehow, someway, that I am Thankful for him. And Lord Jesus, today let President Barack Obama receive the greatest gift ever. To know your love and that he too has a hope and a future and that you desire for him and know for him an expected end. In Jesus Name I pray and I sincerely thank you for President Barack Obama.

Lord, Today is a bitter-sweet day for me. Christmas is always a time of fun and family because we try to keep you in the middle of this celebration. You gave to mankind the greatest gift ever and though we can never repay you, we can always remember. Thank you Jesus for being the sacrificial Lamb that takes away the sins of the world. It is also on this day, years ago, that I lost my daughter to a mad man with a gun. He was not a legal gun owner, as he couldn't be, because he was a convicted felon. But it didn't stop him from using a gun. Lord this gun issue is at the forefront of our nation just now because of the horrible act done by a young man with mental issues, in Connecticut. The man that killed my daughter also had mental issues. Lord, I do not bring this up to politicize my prayer or harass those with mental problems, but because our President needs the wisdom of Solomon to guide our nation through this time. The days are evil and getting worse. We need a leader with a heart for you. We ask that you move upon the heart of President Obama. Lord, only you can discern the times, or men filled with your Spirit, to lead correctly in these days of darkening storms. Lord, give President Obama a love for you, a love for the children of America and for the Men and Women of America. Lord we need a leader who loves us. I always feel Love from you but I honestly do not always feel that President Obama love us, the American people. Please Jesus, Please, change his heart and give him a love for Americans. There is a "Mental Illness of the spirit" that wants to destroy this nation and we need a Holy Spirit Filled Leader to not only Lead our Nation with righteous judgements, but to lead our nation in the Spiritual battles that much be fought and won. Lord, make Barack Obama that kind of man. In Jesus Name I pray.

Lord Jesus, praying routinely, for someone we only know of, is difficult.  However, if we allow you to pray through us in the Spirit, then great things can and will be accomplished.  It is for this that I ask for today.  Please give me inspiration in my prayers for our President.  Oh Lord, today, rock his world.  Make his foundation shake and tremble because it is at those times that men seek you.  Jesus, cause the things in his life that he counts on and trusts, fail him.  Also, shatter his confidence in depending upon himself and cause him to depend up you.  Have him understand that he should beware lest any man spoil him through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after You. (Col. 2:8) Lord, he is in such a hard position.  Everyone wants to control him and guide him because his position is one of great power.  I ask that you "Cause" him to give control to the Master of the Ship and not some usurper who cares nothing for the vessel.  Oh Lord, confound the wise today with the simplicity of your Gospel.  Give Peace to our Leader and care for him.  And today when you shake his world and he calls upon you, or perhaps curses you, answer him plainly and quickly and in Love.  In Jesus Name I Pray.
